Namaskar Mitron.
Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to all my dear Adbhut friends.
I have been toying with this idea of sharing pictures of my food preparations for quite some time. Nothing extraordinary, just everyday cooking. Not that I am a great cook or something. I want to share… Just for some fun. Just pictures, No recipe posts. And also, I want to share simple untreated pictures without any styling or editing. I hope you all will like it.
I am doing a Shree Ganesh for my new category, “Āhāra,” on “This Adbhut Life.” on the auspicious occasion of Bhadrapad Ganesh Chaturthi. Āhāra means food, nourishment ….
So, today I served Ganoba with 11 dishes + modaks
on the left side of salt
1 Coconut Chutney
2 Moong dal Koshimbir (Salad)
3 Kakadichi Koshimbir (Salad)
4 Limbu Bhat (Lemon Rice)
on the right side of salt
1 Batatyachi Bhaji (Potato Subji)
2 Kalya Vatanyachi Usal (Black Chana Stir fry)
3 Katach Saar (sweet and sour curry)
Moongchi kheer in the katori
Puran Poli
Modak
Thikhat Kanhole (savory dumplings)
And of course, tup varan Bhat (dal rice with ghee) and Dahi Bhat (plain curd rice)
I had made 11 modaks for naivaidya. But my hungry family started devouring it immediately after Puja. They would have killed me if I had pressed for a photoshoot. Hence managed to click a picture of the naivaidya plate with at least one Modak.
May Bhagawan Ganesha bless us all with good health, wealth, joy, and happiness.
Ganapati Bappa Morya 🙏
Mangal Murthi Morya 🙏
